Marigold is a must have color this fall- and what a better color to represent the season! We are loving this vibrant yellow-orange and are SO glad that it has made its way back into popular society. Marigold might bring back scary memories for some of you... it could possibly remind you of that nasty kitchen in the 1967 house you grew up in, or maybe it reminds you of grandmas Tupperware drawer. But today our goal is to prove to you, that Marigold, is in fact a good decision for your space.
Now that we have taken a trip down memory lane, lets leave the hate behind and move on to the very bright future. It seems that the majority of society has chosen to steer clear of using yellows and oranges, because they have been deemed "too much" or "too juvenile". I know that the yellow skittles that you tend to leave behind are super sour, but there is nothing sour about incorporating this color into your interior spaces.
When using Marigold in your space it is important that you leave all of your fears and anxiety behind and go bold. Marigold is much more than just a bright color, it tends to have an extra level of depth and mood. This color is versatile and unpredictable, and that's what we love most! Marigold can be incorporated into various different styles and color schemes-if used wisely. If your design style is more emotional and dramatic- a beautiful marigold velvet bed and fringe pendant would give you all the drama you need! If you tend to be more whimsical and boho- go with a fun removable wallpaper and large tassel throw pillows! If you prefer more subtle and earthy vibes- some simple marigold floral sheets would be perfect popping out behind your neutral duvet cover. AND if yellows are your favorite color (like it is mine) go ahead and paint one of your walls Marigold, so you can stare at it every day!
