Over the years, it's no secret that wallpaper has gotten a bit of a bad rep. When selling a home, most people assume that no wall paper is the best wall paper and images like this will come to mind...
Well like most things do, wallpaper has come back around and made it's way into the most charming and beautiful homes. We LOVE it! It's easy to change, can completely make a room, and gives spaces a ton of character. We wanted to share with you some of our favorite new wallpapers and wallpapered rooms that have adopted this look. We hope you get some inspiration and take the leap to incorporate this look into your own home!
1) Watercolor Wallpaper
Isn't this amazing?! We love how this creates an instant work of art on the wall! Check out this article by Domino for some beautiful watercolor wallpapers to try.
2. Rifle Paper Co.
What does Rifle make that's not cute! We love everything they make. We especially love this Pineapple (Sorbet) Wallpaper!
Schumacher has an unlimited amount of wallpaper choices and is a great place to get a feel for what wallpaper options are out there. This Cirrus Clouds design is one of our current favorites - it's so unique and is a grasscloth texture. Celerie Kemble did the styling for this picture and we like the contrast she created with the white dresser and floor.
4. Removable Wallpaper
Peel and stick wallpaper is perfect for non-permanent spaces (or if you're scared to commit!). These cool colors in this cactus artwork by Think Noir Wallpaper is perfection!
5. Animal Prints
We couldn't help but share two for this category! Animal prints are just so much fun and add a ton of personality!
We try to convince everyone we know to use this Wallflora Flamingo wallpaper- it is amazing.
7. Fabric to Wallpaper
A lot of our favorite fabric suppliers also have the option to order the same pattern as a wallpaper. This makes it easier than ever if you fall in love with a print to incorporate in your space one way or another. One of our favorite suppliers for both fabric and wallpaper is Hygge and West- their gorgeous and creative patterns constantly blow us away!
8. Wallpaper Murals
We always support buying massive artwork from local artists, but we also know, that's not always in the budget. Having a wallpaper mural is a great way to add an entire wall of artwork!
We know sometimes taking design risks can be a little scary if it's something you've never tried, so if you're in the boat, a great place to start might be in a smaller space like a laundry room or powder room. We would love to see if you've found a fun wallpaper recently and hope this post has given you the confidence to go for it!
